These Little Photo Card Decks are Really Cool.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered my photo card decks by Chase Jarvis, and Strobist (David Hobby).   Zeke Kamm from Nice Photography Magazine has put together a really cool product: Trade Secret Cards - They are perfect size to collect, and they are printed really well.  Some of the artist's favorite shots are on the front, and the back has a nicely done lighting diagram.  I think they are on to something here.  Wish I thought of that.
They are like little pocket sets of creative and technical inspiration. Great holiday gift for a photographer.

Chris Johnson | Cornerback, Oakland Raiders

I had the pleasure of shooting Chris Johnson this week at the studio. He was totally chilled, he showed up alone, with no entourage.  He had a great smile, but as usual I am drawn to the more bad-ass photos.  This guy is fast, really fast.
He has run the 40 yard dash in 4.18 seconds, which is tattooed on his calf.

The Big Easy Follow Up.

It's been 2 weeks since Partner Con in New Orleans,

and I'm still jazzed about it. Here's a shot of my seminar room just as it opened. 

I wish I had taken a photo with the full house, but I was too focused on my slideshow.

 I only did a little bit of shooting while I was there. 

Next year I plan on touring the city much more.
